Visiting Nurse Association Family Hospice and Palliative care services are an option for those facing life limiting illness. Care is provided through the direction of their doctor and the VNA hospice team.

Referrals are accepted from doctors, family members, friends and community agencies. Once the referral is made, a nurse will visit the patient's home, establish a plan of care, and contact the patient's doctor.

Hospice and Palliative Care services are generally covered by Medicare, Medicaid or other third party insurance providers.
