VNA offers influenza vaccine clinics in September and October. The schedule will be posted in August.

General Flu Vaccine Information:

VNA will bill Medicare Part B, Medicare HMO's: Security Blue, UPMC for Life, Gateway Medicare Assured, Advantra, and UMWA "The Retirement Funds" for seasonal flu vaccine for those over 65 years of age or on Medicare.

The VNA flu immunization program is supported by the Indiana County United Way.

Due to the generous support of the Indiana County United Way the cost for private pay is $20.00.

VNA will give flu shots to age 9 and older. For children under age 9 please contact your primary care physician.

Women who are pregnant should consult their doctor before getting a flu shot.

VNA will not distribute High -Dose flu vaccine.

The VNA also offers flu clinics in the workplace for businesses and other groups. Please call VNA EXTENDED CARE at 724-463-1102 to schedule a clinic at your place of business.

Many Personal Care Homes and Independent Living facilities also participate in our flu vaccine campaign for their residents and employees.
