HomMed is the patented Home Monitoring System developed by Honeywell that
provides an enhanced level of care to patients in the comfort of their home. Each day the monitor collects important health care information, including vital signs, heart rate data, blood pressure oxygen saturation and weight and temperature. The HomMed unit then transmits this information to a central station for the VNA nurse to review.

This monitoring enables the Home Health nurse to keep track of the patient's readings and provide they and their doctor with information needed to adjust their treatment and keep them healthy. Daily Homed monitoring, along with a number of in- home VNA nursing visits can provide patients with optimal home care.
